Marachekku Oils

COLD PRESSED / MARACHEKKU OILS:

The refined oils which have been in use amongst most of the population is a highly dangerous commodity for the body. The oils are exposed to high temperatures, bleaching agents and in addition to other processes which lead to the formation of trans fatty acids which are the main cause for increasing the risk to the heart.

All the nutritive values of oil is being lost in the process. This phenomenon creates a generation which is going to be vulnerable to heart disease, obesity, diabetes and further threatening disorders.

The solution to creating a healthy society is the use of Cold pressed oils / Marachekku oil. Cold Pressed oils are extracted in a much healthier process. In this process, seeds are subjected to extraction being done at remperature below 35 deg C, ensuring the oil maintains its character. Once the oil settles, it is just filtered and bottled. The Marachekku oils are a good source of anti-oxidants, do not contain trans and saturated fat, and maintain their levels of essential fatty acids namely Omega 3 & Omega 6. Cold pressing refers to oils obtained through pressing fruit or seeds with a wooden press. Cold pressed oils retain all their flavour, aroma, and nutritional value, making these oils great for cooking and skin care requirements.Products are brought out directly from farmers who do not use pesticides.

GINGELLY OIL:

has a compound called sesamol which is an anti-oxidant and an anti-inflammatory agent and prevents the formation of fatty deposits in the arteries. Gingelly oil is also loaded with magnesium which is an important mineral for keeping hypertension in control. Gingelly oil is known to reduce LDL cholesterol or bad cholesterol and increase the level of HDL cholesterol or good cholesterol. This oil is also know to be very effective against diabetes by lowering the glucose in the blood. These qualities of the sesame seeds are retained only if the oil is produced by cold pressed method.

GROUNDNUT OIL:

The Cold pressed groundnut oil has bright yellow color with mild peanut flavor. Its It smoking point is high making it  best suited for Indian style cooking and deep frying. The cold pressed groundnut oil will have a better shelf life when stored in dark glass bottles or in stainless container. This oil  is free from cholesterol and contains lots of essential fatty acids like omega-6. So it is one of best oil suited for cooking. It has got ample amount of plant sterols which reduces the risk of heart disease. It has rich mono saturated fatty acids. This helps to reduce the LDL (bad cholesterol) and increase the HDL (good cholesterol) It has rich anti oxidants which helps to reduce the risk of cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. The groundnut oil has rich folates ,  which boosts the fertility.
